Sump Pump Repair and Installation

Sump Pump:

An electrical pump used to remove excess water from your home’s foundation to outside. They are commonly installed in the basement of homes in the sump pit, but can also be found as a pedestal pump. The Submersible pump is submerged in the sump pit making for a quieter basement.  It’s a good idea to have a battery backup for your pump.  If it stops running and pumping water out, it is likely to have the pit overflow and flood your basement especially if the basement floor sits below the water table.
